Position: Software Support Analyst

Location: Allentown, PA

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate would possess a minimum of one year support experience with emphasis in SQL 2005 and knowledge of Accounting Principals. This position will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  •  Provide exceptional level 1 and level 2 service to customers of our POS and integrated back office systems.
  • Work with our customers to troubleshoot complex software issues, with a primary focus on accounting, general ledger and accounts receivable.
  • Escalate bugs and enhancement issues to 3rd level or technical support lead.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvements of customer support processes.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • Upsell customers on new modules or additional functional training.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Computer Science/Business
  • Working knowledge of Accounting Principals and account management of special projects.
  • Must have PC hardware and network experience.
  • Strong skills working with MS Access and SQL 2005.
  • 1 years minimum software support experience for windows POS, accounting/finance or inventory management products.
  • Must have SQL Server Database experience.
  • Demonstrate customer support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must.
  • Understanding of standard journal entries for purchasing of inventory, sales and application of AR payments required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to resolve customer issues.
