Parts Distributions Sales Represntative - East

Responsibilities:

Will work collaboratively with sales management to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Duties include:

  • Thoroughly qualify all leads & sales opportunities.
  • Create new leads from your own prospecting efforts, leveraging your contacts and existing accounts and partners.
  • Learn, understand and execute the principles of Solution Selling.
  • Ability to negotiate opportunities with business owners of small, medium and large businesses.
  • Illustrate influence and leadership qualities.
  • Provide sales reporting and opportunity status to Sales Director.
  • Understand and effectively implement customer retention methods.
    Candidate must have the ability and desire to develop and maintain productive business relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Must strategize, negotiate & close business
  • Exhibit professional, customer-focused, quality-oriented, and committed attitude
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have enthusiasm, drive, and self-motivation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven Small and Medium Business to Business outside sales experience is required. Experience selling windows-based software products is preferred.
  • 3 years minimum sales experience selling Inventory Management products
  • Ability and willingness to travel (approx. 75%) within east coast region
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a mixture of training and experience gained to sufficiently fulfill the requirements of the position.
  • Willingness and ability to drive sales from lead-generation (prospecting and cold calling) all the way through to closing and account maintenance.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the benefits of business automation computer software products
  • Job related experience with MS Office products
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous experience with commissioned sales preferred.
